What students say about SKE

“I think that completing a subject knowledge enhancement course is an excellent way to prepare for teacher training. It’s great for boosting confidence and covering subjects which you might not feel 100% comfortable with. For me, I know that the syllabus has changed massively since I was at school so it's been helpful for me to go over areas that are now being taught not in quite the same way as when I was at school. Having the course online has enabled me to complete tasks at my own pace and work around my other responsibilities with relative ease. I would certainly recommend completing a subject knowledge enhancement course to anyone who was thinking of undertaking teacher training especially if it was somebody who had had a few years break form education like I had.”

- Natasha Roberts, 8 week Biology SKE

(Update: DfE will only fund Biology SKE if enrolled / place confirmed by 10th April 2024)
